Ethical Storytelling
Ethical storytelling is an approach to sharing narratives that prioritizes honesty, respect, and accountability. It involves representing individuals and communities with integrity, ensuring their voices are accurately portrayed and their dignity is upheld. Ethical storytelling requires sensitivity to cultural context, consent, and the potential impact of the narrative on both storytellers and audiences.
It aims to empower those sharing their stories while also considering the broader social, cultural, and ethical implications of the narrative. Overall, ethical storytelling seeks to foster understanding, empathy, and positive change while honoring the humanity and agency of all involved
